whenever i copy the location of the .gif (which i created myself) and preview my signature, there is nothing there. I use bbcodes.

okay - it can, but I hate them so if I was King of the World I'd invent a system that automatically deleted the user ID of anyone who used one as an avatar or in a sig-file. Tongue

There's no big difference. You just have to copy an animated gif.'s location in the avatar or signature box, just like you normally do using a plain pic. How exactly did you failed?
