To prevent any damage to the wireless USB modem sticking out of my laptop I put a roll of tape under it so that it won't break if when throwing my jeans down on the floor I accidentally hit it. That's about the only sensible thing I did today.

I can't stand these decibel meters: everywhere you go, everywhere you go, they're there, you may not see them but they're there, you look around, try to find them, try to find them, you know they're there, you know they're there, but you cannot see them, no you cannot see them, but they're there, you know they're there, how could they not be, how else could they keep track of sounds, I hate 'em I hate 'em, I truly hate them, those decibel meters, those ghastly decibel meters, who put them there, I'm asking, who put them there, who, who, who and why, why, why, why all those decibel meters, what do they want, what do they want of me?
