Topic: Psychotic Waltz vs Deadsoul Tribe Posted: May 13 2009 at 09:09 |
I have been getting back into Psychotic Waltz again lately and I was wondering what band is preferred on this site ? I`m no expert when it comes to Deadsoul Tribe I like them but they never grabbed me the way Psychotic Waltz did anyway looking forward to seeing the results for this poll.

Deadsoul Tribe is good. But, Psychotic Waltz is amazing.

Waltz of course. Deadsoul Tribe shows how important was the Rock/McAlpine guitar duo for the music of PW. Buddy/Devon is a great singer and lyricist, but at writing music and guitarwork DST falls a bit short compared to Psychotic Waltz.

PW most definitely. DT just isn't as edgy, powerful and downright weird.

Psychotic Waltz for me, while DST is a good band for sure they never quite manage to create the same brilliant atmosphere of any PW album.

Exactly I have been waiting for ages for a trully stunning DST album but it has not come yet. Their debut still remains my personal favourite - possibly because it's closer to PW

What he said. I've only really got A Murder of Crows by DST and I was so disappointed with it that I dont have any desire to explore their other albums, I'm told that styalistically their not a massive departure from AMoC except for the debut.
