Topic: Random Thoughts Posted: April 08 2009 at 20:54 |
Hello all, welcome to 'Random Thoughts'.
Here's the gist of it, every once in a while, I have a poignant or intelligent thought go through my head.
This is not where I put them.
Nay, this is a place for the random miscellany that clatters across my neurons. My phlurgh if you will.
Feel free to comment on my thoughts or post your own thoughts (or comment on other people's thoughts).
Enjoy,
Roland

I don't have an unnatural obsession with Disney Princesses, I have a fourteen year old daughter and coping mechanisms.

I get put off by album reviews that contain the words neo-prog and death metal.
My bathroom window needs to get replaced.
A lot of fat people are fatter than me.
Neon light can be warming.
My feet are catching up with my age.
Bottled water shouldn't be a luxury.
Mike Portnoy would play a mean violin.
My co-workers are nearly all male.
Would I look good in a frock?
My iPod is getting full, what shall I delete?
Hayfever is a bitch, good I haven't got it.
And do allergies write books? If so, would they be crime or science fiction?
My car would look good inside a mole.
I feel like having an omelette with mushrooms, wrapped in pastry on pizza with ice cream topping.
The office cleaner still hasn't got rid of that old chocolate in the chair seat material I'm sitting on.
Why do I keep thinking stuff?

Two thoughts randomly came into my mind.
1. Why did kamikaze pilots bother wearing crash helmets?
2. Just what is so good about the dog's b******s?
That's all.

How do I get this page on quick-dial?
Are fingers green in the dark?
My head phones are pulling my eyebrows to the left.
Buffalo Bill had three ears: left, right, and wild front.
Why do typos only appear after the post has been submitted?
Do people put their coke spoons in the dishwasher?
Wires get tangled when you look away for a split second.
Telephones on Mars would sound weird.
Are my ancestors looking up at me?
What's with that smell?

^ Hmm, I'm thinking this has bounced around a few times cause I originally put it in Prog Blogs.
I realize now that I didn't actually include the words 'Progressive Rock' in my initial post. The intent was to be random thoughts on Prog. Not that I have anything against npj squared' cubicle farm ramblings.
We may try this one again.

There's a sign at the post office that says "No Seeing Eye Dogs Allowed"
Who's that sign for?

I saw a sign once advertising a "Psychics' Fair"
Why did they need to advertise it?

I will actually comment some important thoughts...

Obviously, because if there's a problem before they actually collide with the target, and there's some big shaking in the plane, they might lose conciousness, therefore making the kamikaze attack impossible...
Actually, the helmets wouldn't stop oxygen from not entering the brain... therefore it might have some magnetic reasons... remember, helmet=iron (in a way); maybe O2 has a special magnetic relation with Iron whereby it gets attracted to it, thus making the pilot constantly concious of what he's going to do...
Another long-approved theory studied in universities in bologna and cologne is that, should the pilot fail in his objective, he should be taklen to trial by his country and executed... the helmet stops the kamikaze pilot from commiting suicide by bashing his head to a wall before that happens... It has been proven successful 74% of the time... Some pilots actually managed to break the helmet in two.. only to find US drywall on the other side, therefore they actually made an entire house collapse on top of them, thus killing them...
anyway, there has to be a reason...

If a tree falls to ground and there is no one there - does it make a sound. If that is so what happens to my Walkman earphones when I take them out?

Since a "sound" is how the brain interprets certain vibrations in the air, the tree you speak of does NOT make a sound.

Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.
