I think the quality is worse (new WITTR)! The drums get really drowned out in some places, and the guitars are either over or undermixed throughout the whole album, with no happy medium!

They definately tried a more raw approach, and in doing so really devited away from their atmospheric roots. I'm not too happy with it, but at the same time, it's really not that bad.

I liked the new Giant squid album, Seven gill is epic as a mutha! But it's a little dry in the middle, so I don't really come back to it as often as I like.

Worse Than Alone by The Number Twelve Looks Like You is another excellent 2009 release.

about new Giant Squid was more softer than metridium fields, no crushing riffs, but still good album .. i think Samus octology was better than SES I , at least for me

They have some mathcore elements.

Thanks man,nice to see you too and it's nice to be back.

Nothing much going on,just had to step away from PA after the death of my mother.I had no desire to do anything here anymore after that.

Quitting the PMT was f**king hard though,it felt like I was abandoning my child.It was necessary though.I was tired of doing all that work on top of admin duties.

I like So Eye Sea I better because it's heavier....always a BIG plus in my book.
