grood, still enjoying my freedom until the girlfriend returns (which is not much different from normal life except for less messes to clean up after and less sex) - Listening to my latest Horslips acquisition, although I'll only be able to get through one side before I go and have a shower/leave for work - although afterwards an old highschool buddy is coming over for drinks and video games, so yay!

And yeself?

Sounds good. I'm doing well... got my braces off this morning and it feels very weird.

Other than that, I'm enjoying my temporary laziness during spring break.

Hm... Scenes From A Memory Metropolis...

not at all impressed. The lyrics are disastrous, the concept... oh dear, the music didn't grab my attention much, and Labrie seems to have decided to stop being good most of the time. Erk.

You mean the album or the song (or both)? I assume the album.

That used to be my favorite DT album. But now it's not even one of my top 3.

Although that could just be because The Dance of Eternity annoys me so much.

Ze album. The pt. 1 or whatever it is is myfavourite piece off Images And Words.

I liked Awake, though.

It's my favorite metal album ever, but I can see how you wouldn't like it because of taste differences.

LOL

I can't imagine that it's going to get many more listens from me... and I can see a scathing review on the horizon. Oddly, on the metal side, Iron Maiden's Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son arrived today, and that was a fantastic listen. About Scenes... I liked the Indo-metal/whatever you'd call that track... Home, maybe?

Also, Awake has changed my estimation of James Labrie a bit. Some amazing vocals on there

Good boy, you like Awake - my favorite DT album. Seventh Son does kick stupendous amounts of ass, so good one on you there too.
