Can't believe you married someone that would watch a DT video.  What a win!

My wife and I share most everything in common except music, believe it or not.

Yeah.

We met through a band. I was looking for a female vocalist, someone recommended her to me, and the rest is history.

She also likes Mr. Big, Paul Gilbert, Yes, Kansas, Genesis, Rush, Dennis Chambers, Greg Bissonette, The Beatles and tons others.Big smile

yes. We chose not to have  a children's party. Instead we went out (the 3 of us), ate at my favorite restaurant, bought my kid some toys, and called it a day. We had fun though.,

Not all girls love to talk.
My ex just wanted to f*** all the time.
That just gets annoying.

At first that sounds crazy, but my college roommate had a girlfriend like that, and in the end he said it was annoying as well.

Yeah, it's good for like, 4 weeks maybe, but after wards you begin to get the feeling the girl is  as shallow as sh*t.

I really want a girl that would help me better myself and a girl that has the same attitude to me as well.
My ex just wanted to drink, bonk and that was it. She never wanted to do anything that could better us both and she didn't really care for music much, which made me kinda sad since my life revolves very very heavily around music.
I'm 20 years old now and really, I don't have the time anymore for a girl that is going to impede my progress in life.
If I can get a girl that I could go for a jog with, workout with, a girl that plays an instrument so we can both share that passion and could play together, I know that would be far better, because the more things you can relate too, I believe the closer you can be and the relationship has the potential for more strength and depth.
I know those type of girls exist too, and I'm willing to wait, rather than bother going into meaningless, sh*tty 'let's f**k' relationships again.

Weird. It's absolutely the first time I hear a guy hold that kind of speech. Good for you.

And good for all the girls looking for a guy like you.

The thing is, I want the same as Harry too.  Yet meh... girls just don't seem to understand this. Cry

I want a girl I can share some interests with.  Be able to talk about the news and just general stuff that's going on.  It would be nice but not essential if we shared some music tastes too but that's something I can let slide.  It's more about understanding each other.  Knowing how each other thinks and knowing that at all costs, she's there for me 100% and I'm there for her 100%.  I don't want a girl just to sleep with.  I want to a girl I can do things with.  Like go to museums, holidays and all sorts of other things with.  Yet she also has to have her own life and independence as well.  I don't expect her to be with me all the time.  In fact, I want her to realise I need space a lot and that she shouldn't feel offended when I want that space.  I want her to be able also want space and time to herself too.  Yet I also want those intimate moments as well.

Maybe I ask for too much...

Oh and I don't want to be waited on either.

It's dead in here.

I've also realised that despite what I said above, I am still very much in love with Kim and she does not fit many of the above criteria.

Ah well.

Heh, if you saw my post before James, that was referring to Selby.
I did quite literally get so close to smashing her face on the sidewalk, she really pisses me off sometimes.
I can see us both hooking up again, those one nightly things, but I've made up my mind I've never properly go out with her, it would never work because we would be at each other's throats within a few months.

I feel the same way towards Kim except for a different reason.

Whilst she's living with that guy and she's still drinking far too heavily, there is no way I'd go out with her.  Of course, she apparently doesn't feel that way towards me yet tonight I had a good chat with her and she was often quite touchy-feely with me.  Not extreme but definitely more so than she ever has been.  Last week she was playing with my hair and stroking my beard whilst looking a bit intimate towards me.  Yet the next moment she's getting off with this other guy and they're just mates.  It's confusing.

Mates don't do that.

Do you randomly *pash* with your female friends?  I don't think you do.
