I'd move out when he moves into a different place.

He's currently looking for somewhere.

Oh, so there's no definite date.

Well, good luck with it.

Well it's only an option... besides, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it.

If I was to move out, what I'd probably do is transfer as much of my music as possible over to my laptop, so I don't have to take CDs with me.  That way all my CDs can stay where they are.

It means they won't disappear or get broken when random people invade my bedroom.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

Yep but do you realise how many albums I have?

It'd take a week... maybe more to do all that!

Eh?

Pat, did you ever listen to Last Exit? By the way, I was thinking about making a thread about free jazz, and while the other ones were made a while ago, I never would have thought that most people in General Music would say they like free jazz in a poll. But I guess that's just most people who bother to click a thread about free jazz. Either way, we're not as special as I thought. ;-)

I saw a youtube clip...brutal.

It's odd, I downloaded a sh*tload of free jazz stuff from emusic but I just haven't been in the mood to listen to any of it yet - it takes a certain frame of mind and concentration level, I feel, that I just haven't had lately.

It's difficult...

Heresie or Ceux du Dehors...

Hmm.

I'm not sure I can even narrow it down to that.

Right now Ceux du Dehors is my favorite.  But I only have it along with 1313 and Heresie, so I'm not in a good position to judge.

James for someone who's never lived with roommates you certainly have a good grasp of it, and seem to see the pitfalls.

Absolutely. All cynicism aside, it sounds great.

Details to follow... I'm switching my time slot. Perhaps Huggies will be able to listen to it, it's probably going to be around 3 AM Eastern time.I'm totally psyched. My school already has a prog show, so mine will be highlighting modern prog, post rock, and modern avant garde.

Agreed. And once my seniority increases, I'll get better time slots (or so they say)
