Well, it is really damn amazing.

At least we agree on that. Wink

Cartoon may surprise you or leave you cold...

I like their darker tunes, myself.

Hasn't your mother told you to pick up your socks and throw them in the hamper?  If you just leave them lying on the floor your bound to have the sock trolls come and steal them.

Might it have been the Living in the Heart of the Beast red sock.  Oh, wait.  You don't have that one. Wink

If it is the same Cartoon, they had a bunch of free downloads on their website a while back, that I downloaded.  It was mentioned in the places for free downloads thread.  If it was the same band, I remember that the music was pretty good.  As a matter of fact I stuck the songs on the end of a CD-R that I burned to fill up the entire 80 minutes and I remember really enjoying the last songs but knowing that they weren't from the CD that I was listening to.  When I checked to see who they were from, they were from Cartoon..

Different band, I think.

Cartoon don't have a website.  They're too obscure. LOL

There's a different Cartoon on P.A. that are probably the one you're referring to.

Henry Cow, UZ, Stravinsky, Cartoon music (they did live covers of the Rocky and Bulwinkle theme LOL) and other chamber prog sort of stuff.

They're rather cheerful and upbeat.

Now PFS are purely chamber prog and much darker. Big smile

I've neglected them far too much.

Alas, I still don't have the last track from Music from Left Field, 'cause Sortie doesn't include it.

I did message Scott Brazieal about it but he said he didn't have it.  He said the other member of the band may have it, 'cause he has all the bootleg material.  I shall message him on Facebook.
