I'm listening to Beardfish's Sleeping In Traffic Part 1 right now in preparation for my first listen to Sleeping In Traffic Part Two.  I really enjoy Part 1.  It just makes me so disappointed that it didn't appeal to you Pat.

I showed you this link before to the NearFest website, but they have a free download of the song Into The Night from Beardfish on it.  http://www.nearfest.com/event/lineup.asp

I can see it, Mike. It's not an X, as cool as those are anyway.

I'll try again, I think I only heard the album one time.

One of the things in my pile of unheard music is Egg.

Pat, which of their albums should I start with? I have 3. I may try that after Radiohead.

When you have tons of unplayed albums lying around, it's sometimes tough to convince yourself to branch out and try them when you could just pop in a Henry Cow or Radiohead album that you already know you love.

Plus, I've been a music collector for a good 4 years now, and I still would like to be more familiar with albums I already do know, let alone unheard ones.

There are some pretty cool Neo downloads here, but you can try Love Story from Beardfish's The Sane Day album.  http://www.progressrec.com/download.html    That one is a double album concept album.  It is OK.  Their debut is really good too, but I would definitely recommend Sleeping in Traffic Part One.  I have yet to listen to Part 2 yet.  That one has its place in the queue however.

If you have all three, start with the first, though I think The Polite Force is their best.

Let me know what you think, the third is actually quite RIO.  Big smile

I'm quite familiar with modern stuff, that's how I started with music. I always make sure to be familiar with the albums that I have before I buy more.
