Well I don't have many guests over.  I only really like 2 or 3 at a max.  More than that and it's unbearable for me.

Of course I'd likely have a spare room/lounge but I wouldn't use it much myself.  It would be mostly for storage and guests.

When I get more than 4, it's family only, all of which I enjoy spending time with. I've had 10, and it is a tight fit, so I do need plenty of seating, at the very least. And I couldn't see myself receiving my 91 years old "farmor" (granny) without a reasonably high level of comfort.

I don't really care about decorating at all, but for some reason, my dream apartment always would have cool posters, tapestries, and random Indian/Middle Eastern/psychedelic decor.

Edit: Oh, I know why.  Because I'm an "idealist" for the future, and just lazy and apathetic for the present. LOL

Well I'll more likely visit the family at their abode, rather than them visiting me.  My pad would be for myself and the occasional friend.

Oh and I'd have a double bed.

I've never had one and well, I may get a girlfriend one day too.

I'd paint my place in silly colours because I can.

My bedroom currently has yellow walls and red window sills. LOL

However I could happily just live with white walls and posters and stuff.  That was basically what my room was at University anyway.

Do guys actually know that there's a chance that you will have to live with a partner at some point, and if that partner happens to be a girl, it will matter to her what your place looks like? Confused

Well of course.

But no woman ever stays at the guys place.  We always stay at there's. Wink

And when the time comes to live together, then we'd get our own place.

Besides, white walls are good for everyone.  They're inoffensive.

I rarely burn music on my computer onto CD.  If I like it that much, I'll buy it on CD or Vinyl.

I have more downloads than CDs though, it has to be said.  I just prefer having a real product.

Also maybe it's just me but some people are just stupid... why start up a shop you know isn't going to make you any money?  There's many pointless shops in Swindon that people visit on occasionally because they're for a niche market.

If you're going to have a niche product, then I'd take my business online.

Greg Walker would not survive on the High Street,  Neither would ReR Megacorps or Wayside.

I used to live about 10 minutes from Wayside HQ.  Big smile

There you go: marriage brings colours into your life.

Actually, my hooking up with Beatlemaniac didn't bring much colours in mine as we kept comprising on every colour sample and now everything looks bland and... well, samey. I get free dirty socks art though.

Because it will probably become very entertaining if someone like Ivan comes in there and takes him seriously, and the OP responds in kind. Or it will be a massive wall of blue text within blue text, it's hard to tell.

My place would be beige and devoid of most decoration, most likely. Not something I care about, and I'm fine with realtor beige.

Exactly.  When my wife and I had separate places in college, I always stayed at hers.  My house was not fit for humans.  Tongue

Come on, you can't look me in the eye and say that someone putting serious effort into trying to get AC/DC included isn't entertaining at all.

I'm not familiar enough with Ivan to know what might happen with the ABBA thread, but I'll suppose I'll keep on the lookout.

So it's not serious?

edit: oh, I thought you were saying the guy was just pulling a prank with his thread
