Topic: A poll of good Grayc... Posted: January 09 2009 at 07:11 |
..eon!
I've been listening to the new Grayceon album over christmas and new year a lot and think its absolutely fantastic, a stronger performance than the already very good debut. I find the composition to have stronger focus to it and those that complained of the lack of bass should be pleased with the tones that Perez-Gratz uses this time for her electric Cello, it fills the low end much better.
I think its clear which ones my choice, whats yours?

I know Assafs heard it, I think he's the onl one to have reviewed it yet and he did that months ago.
I wasnt aware that the availability of it was so limited, which is probably why I'm the only one to have voted so far, which is a shame because its an excellent album.

I got it when it was released but because of school I've only had a chance to hear it 3 times, only one of which was a very attentive listen. My initial impression was it being awesome though a little disappointingly similar to the debut.
As of right now I'm leaning towards the debut which just seems to have more energy, but the 30 to 3 listening ratio doesn't make that vote too fair .

I don't really like either... not a lot of variety in their music. At least, not enough to be writing twenty minute epics.
