Paul Stump said pretty much the same thing I would have said about ELP if they had interviewed me. LOL

Sometimes they can be brilliant and sometimes they can be abominable.

Yep, that's ELP!

Abominable?

I can't think of anything abominable about them..

Wink

Except by "abominable", James means Tarkus, not the celebrated prog punching bag above.

I love Tarkus. ELP's 70-73 albums are all awesome, but that's my opinion.

I see you enjoyed my video, Pat. Big smile

I sure did, you guys were funny and played great.

You know a lot of great players over there!  Should really start up a jazz-rock band, I'd buy the album!  Big smile

Have you seen the overly excessive ELP European Tour video?

It's giggleworthy!

Maybe later.

I'm fed of people laughing at me behind my back... or actually in front of me.  I don't know why I bother coming here. Unhappy

Sorry if I've said anything to offend (not the intent, but it happens... just me being socially inept, even on the 'net).

It's not you, Rob, don't worry.

It's just it seems I am the Prog Jester.  I'm the butt of all P.A. jokes and even when I'm not the butt of the jokes, I'm accused of things I'm not, or, I get character assassinated for no good reason.

I don't see a lot of it, but if you feel you're being impugned unfairly (char. assassination), definitely speak up for yourself.  Also feel free to tell people to go F themselves.

That's the thing, Patrick.  I'm too polite.

Plus the people who are pushing me over the edge are Administrators. Ouch  Telling them where to go isn't exactly a good idea.

I remember when all that started. It was fun for a while, but I didn't find it too amusing when it seemed to be a major daily routine here on the forums.. I can clearly understand why you are fed up! Ouch

Thanks for the support, Blowie.

I admit I am quite open here.  I don't keep my emotions in and I have said a few things in the past that may annoy people.

However, that's no reason for people to hold a grudge (even if they're supposedly joking) and say things about me that others may not understand and then get wary of me just because someone has said something that isn't even true.

I understand the concern.

But if you are being disrespected by anyone on this site, especially in "public", that's wrong.  And I don't care who does it.

But to them, they may just be saying they're having a "joke".

It's their word against mine.

It's very silly, I know. Especially if it's true what you say that people have continued to do this up to now recently.
