I'm guessing the "bands you have in common" thing relies mostly on 1) bands that two users both have a lot of plays in, and 2) obscure bands that the two users both listen to (CoAM).

Actually, I would say this is closer to the Cow sound (in some places) than all those bands I mentioned previously.
