Hello, everyone. I wrote a ton of reviews on the Metal Archives, and since I became more interested in progressive rock, I'm going to write reviews for this site. I'm used to writing long, in-depth reviews. You can find them here:

Since I am going to be writing reviews for this website, I would like to have my status changed to "Prog Reviewer". How do I get this status?

Have a look at the FAQ's in the rules section RoP. We look forward to seeing your fine reviews here. The appointment of Prog reviewer though is based on what you have submitted to the site, not what you are going to submit.Wink

Ok, that's cool. I have to prove myself first then, so to speak. That's what I was assuming, thanks for the help!  Smile

2. I'm afraid that i have the writer's block so i need help to remove that!! help!!!!ShockedLOL
3. My wife have increase his demand on attention to her, so, sometimes she doesn't allow me to concentrate in music.

Somebody help me!!!!! ShockedCry

Oh, ok. I misread your post - I though you meant that I had written that it was time to move on, because the matter was being dealt with. That was what David wrote just before your post. Sorry... Big smile

Absolutely nothing about the record, the production, the songs, the playing...nothing.  At least talk about the drumming!

Yep... Not to mention the opening line: "To be honest, i would give 4 stars, BUT the place in the poll is too high for me so my contribution is to calm down the result..." - not a good reason for the rating IMO...

The reviewer clearly stated a wish to manipulate the rating, since in his/her opeionn it is too high - and this is NOT a good idea.

Many of Mandie's additions have been removed Chris. Various friends of his are talking to him to keep him right. That particular album may actually be OK, what do others think?

If it is a tribute album, I don't see why it shouldn't be here in the same way as the numerous Magna Carta tributes to various prog bands. The problem arises with those bottom-of-the-bin compilations that he seems so keen on reviewing - many of them of Italian artists that have very little to do with prog. In my opinion, it's not just a question of dumbing down the site, but also of offering reviews of material that most site users will never have access to. I think we all agree that our reviews should not be so much a vanity project as a kind of 'service' we offer to other users.

^ truth be told I have a problem with Tribute albums to prog bands being added as well.  I understand the dilemma but it is the subsequent content we need to address not the individual IMO, if , that is, Mandie will not desistErmm

Trying to be impressionistic + significant language barrier = hilarity methinks.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

While I find it funny, this review - http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=201160 - is an excerpt from American Psycho.
