Hey James, glad to see you're recovering from illness.

I finally ordered some Le Silo (8.8) from Wayside.  Tongue

Annoying.

I'm about to watch Rikki Lake for no good reason... is this the summing up of my 2009?

And my stomach hurts. Cry  I still have a chesty cough.

Zeuhlcellent. Big smile

If you love the piano work on Angherr Shisspa, you'll adore the piano work on 8.8. Big smile

Did you enjoy all three Afenginn albums?  How does the new one compare to the first two?

Cornish Traditional or a Slice?

Steak Slice. I think Peppered Steak Slice is the ultimate.

They are great.

But it's the Cornish Traditional that works best for me.

1. it fills me up and will stop me being hungry for ages
2. it's full of wonderful nutrients and stuff like brains, eyes and other lovely stuff LOLEmbarrassed
3. it's tasty, oh so very tasty

Pat, did you happen to somehow see Prog Britannia on BBC 4?

Mont Campbell was on it. Big smile

He's aged brilliantly.

I still have to listen to Retrograd.

Only based on first listen, I'd say the new one is just as good as Akrobakkus, though I think I prefer the latter slightly.

I'm listening to Far Corner now, and I'm really enjoying it!

And, the new Rational Diet is outstanding.  I wish I could redo my 2008 top 5.  Cry

Far Corner are enjoyable first the first 10 minutes and they you grow tired of it and wonder what the fuss is all about.

Now an album you do need, is that Pocket Orchestra one.  It's mindblowing!

They also showed a clip of Soft Machine I hadn't seen before and the mighty Ratledge spoke! Shocked

Was surprised they even mention Egg but was also surprised they didn't mention Gentle Giant or VdGG.  Or The Moody Blues for that matter.

And Henry Cow deserved a mention too... but meh.

Just seeing Mont Campbell and Robert Wyatt made my day. Big smile
