Yep.  Definitely a warm one for a winter day here.  Of course, just last week we were dealing with wind chills below 0 degrees.

Crazy weather all over the world I guess.
It apparently snowed in Sydney suburbs this year during winter, which is something that never ever happens in Sydney.
In a few years, I'll be getting Melbourne snow tooLOL

They had 3 inches of snow in Las Vegas last week, and that is in the middle of a desert.  Definitely a rarity there.

Changing the subject, have you happened to have a chance to check out the band Mellotron that I sent the Prog Metal teams may last month.  I think that you might like them.  I think that they are a bit more technical then the typical prog metal band.

Mellotron?
Just general links, or an actual full album Rapidshared type thing?
Just checked the PA charts, and The T has already voted on them, so I guess Plankowner and I need to get around to it.

They just have an EP that was released last month.  Their drummer used to be a member of Tiles.  I saw them play live a couple of weeks ago as the opening band for Tiles and King's X.

Ahh cool.
Well I'll definitely give them a listen tonight and see if I can cast my vote.

I'm off for now anyway, ciao Scott.

Do you have a Myspace or something? I don't really feel like downloading the whole album.

Also, this is SO GOOD.

I think we made one like 2 1/2 years ago, but I've never used it. LOL

I'll get online streaming available through last.fm and a few other sites, if you want to hear just a song or two.

You should, you'll get a lot more exposure that way. Because as it is, I think a bunch of people will say "Oh cool a forum member's CD", not really knowing you very well, and then seeing that they're going to have to download the whole album from an unbearably slow server (22 kb/s, really?), and they don't even know how big it is, they're going to not bother.

Upload it on Megaupload.com, there is no reason at all for it be on whatever random host you are using right now. Then I will even download the whole album.

Excellent, Alex and David.  I'll try and listen to the album within the week.

I already have it on last.fm; I should try getting a few other sites too.

Have you thought about selling said album?

You could set up a PayPal account and make sure all your band members get the money from sales.

I thought about it, but I'm keeping everything free for now (and the debut).

Might consider that for future though... I need to go about getting more exposure first.

Where? I can't find it.

Yeah, it's really not hard to rapidshare or megaupload it and it saves everyone a lot of trouble. I can't imagine how the other guys had the patience to download it, unless they were getting much faster speed.

Here: http://www.last.fm/music/Casualties+of+Applied+Metaphysics

It didn't come up on a search for some reason though.

I've spotted a mistake on your album...

You are insane.  So why say you're not? LOL
