I know that I am safe from being kidnapped to the eclectic bunker. You won't be able to get any ransom for me. As matter of fact you'd probably have to pay my friends and family to take me back.

Awesome. I'd love to get outside, but it's not really wintry weather and I'm sick. However, that does remind me... we set a new record high for today's date around here. I love how schizo this area's weather is. Today's high is 69F.

Ahh, doesn't matter much then (at Mike).
I was originally tipped to do a promotional "do it first before the other prog sites get to it"review actually, for a Prog Metal band that I downloaded songs from iPool ( I wasn't allowed to say this before the album was released obviously), but that ended up falling through because not only did I not think the album was worth more than 3 stars, but because no one else that could review even listened to the album and all my other Prog Metal Team buddies were too lazy too. And well, PA didn't get the review in before anyone else like we hoped, so that kinda sucked.

Although, I was somewhat surprised as to why I was chosen to do that particular review (which never happened anyway), more surprising too when you consider it was a review that would be under much more scrutiny than normal. I mean, there are heaps of guys that are better reviewers than me, so I just don't get why I got chosen to do it

Why would someone get chosen to do a specific review anyway?

You'll convince your parents yourself, once you will live 3 days without a sound of Rush.

Well, basically, it's obvious a job like that wouldn't go to anyone that wasn't at least a Prog Reviewer at the minimum (no "regular" members basically) and I'm a Prog Metal Collab, and the problem was, Jody was absent too much at the time (and still is), Plankowner doesn't really do reviews, The T was away from PA too much, and so was Sleeper, so they picked me. The problem is, The T and sleeper are the guys on the Prog Metal Team more passionate about "Prog Metal" and I'm more passionate about Tech/Extreme and Post/Experimental, but the band I was tipped to review, was Prog Metal. And well, I'm just not that excited about that side of prog metal anymore, so I wouldn't have been able to give it more than 3 stars, because frankly I didn't see that album as being too special.

Ah, okay. That is interesting. Have you guys ever thought of making sub-sets of the PMT (but still having one team)?
