I'm gonna go with Zappa in NY...i love everything about that album. And it's got the Black Page. TWICE!
But it's really a tie between that one, Sheik, and Apostrophe.
I know One Size Fits All is a popular one, but there are a few songs on there that I don't really care for.

Yeah, same here. I was thinking especially Grand Wazoo would get some more votes.

I'm surprised that Overnite Sensation isn't getting more support. Camarillo Brillo, Dina-Moe Hum and Moving to Montana are classics.

So many great albums , I am kinda biased to vote for Roxy & Elsewhere since it's the only Zappa album I could get , plus it's a great live release.
But Waka Jawaka it's too much , that brass section gives a distinct sound.

I voted for Apostrophe. It's hard to pass over Zappa in New York, Sheik Yerbouti, Joe's Garage, and One Size Fits All, but there's something about Apostrophe that really connects with me.

I thought Joe's Garage was perfectly realized. . .especially Act 1. Saw the tour, too, which clinched this one for me.

Yeah the first act of Joe's Garage is really together conceptually. Something gets lost after "Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up."

Pencils down time again boys a girls. As the sun sets on the second Zappa decade we have learned that a majority of progarchive poll voters feel that One Size Fits All was the strongest FZ release of the 1970s. It will move on and join Hot Rats in the finals. To all of you who voted in this weeks poll I thank you and hope to see you again in the 1980s.

Incidentally, Sleep Dirt gets way less attention than it does. I'm considering bumping my current review of it up a star. It's quite possibly one of Frank's strongest.
