Who?

Fred Frith.

But my alley is pretty boring compared to some other people here...Wink

Listen to Leg End. Big smile

Either that or Western Culture would be a good start for someone new to Henry Cow.

Yeah, but Western Culture can be pretty damn inaccessible.

"Nirvana for Mice" is streaming on their PA page.  Check it out.  Smile

So simple, that's why I love this place! Smile

edit: well, actually, I'll look it up as soon as I'm done obsessing over some live Richard Thompson bit

Sounds good. Let me know what you think.

I want to, but I'm listening to the rare Proto Kaw (pre-Kansas) recordings. I'll do some HC afterwards.

Holy sh*t, this sounds NOTHING like Kansas (as much as I love Kansas). It's actually really RIO. It rocks. Clap

It is, actually. Livgren is a genius.

Man, what happened to make such a radical change to Kansas's sound, I wonder... I can see what Robert meant now; parts of this do actually sound like HC because of the avant feel to it and the sax.

Never liked Nirvana.
Was (and still am) a fan of Alice In Chains and Soundgarden though.
