I'll tell ya if when we have written our own Supper's Ready or Close to the Edge, or maybe just for you since you're a Progmetalhead, a Learning to Live version of ours

^thanks man! Though we still need a bass, lol! We have 2 guitars, vocals(me), and drums of course. We're quite amateur but the lead guitarist is self-taught or however you call it, and he rocks! The drummer is getting better each practice, and the new member the rythm guitarist is getting along the group very well. Next practice, we'll probably play Knife Edge by ELP(without keys, odd isn't it?), Space Truckin' and Money for Nothing hope so.

You must have some voice!!
I notice you haven't added "Child In time " to the playlist quite yet!
John Paul Jones needs the practice if the rumours are correct, maybe worth having a word! |
... Child in Time is a extremely tough one, impossible I must say for my voice range I love to express my voice ala Coverdale(DP stuff and early Whitesnake). Of course my voice is by no means Coverdale's, but his tone is what I try to reach if I can, hehe. I make some howls like in Highway Star's intro. For The Ocean, my voice is well, my voice, I can't imitate Plant, so it's my own tone of voice not trying to sound Plant. So don't expect me as a good singer. Amateur with good influences

Good luck to you Pablo, you never know I may be buying one of your albums in a few years time!

I was just about to ask how is that Port Mahadia. I saw it on Kinesis, and checked out an mp3 or two, and thought about getting it, but something else came out that I wanted and so that got left behind, but still might end up getting that one. Pretty nice from what I heard. |
I'm pretty certain you won't regret it Chester. A PROPER concept album IMO. You'd better hurry they are in the middle of their sophomore as we speak.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

It's in my top 5, Scott. Very nice disc.
As for me:

Very cool disk. Whatever happened to them? After A Story Two Days Wide, they just disappeared.
I think this is probably my favorite of their three disks, although, Dream Visage from their first is probably one of the best post-Gabriel Genesis songs I ever heard. |
I think they're getting back together and doing on of the festivals next year out east. Sure would like to see another disc from these guys. E
