Waterline is an excellent song, but I think Sultans of Swing has been my favorite since I was about 8 years old

Fair enough. I've certainly heard Sultans more than the others... so Down To The Waterline was a particularly nice surprise. @Gnosis Absolutely... Telegraph Road is potentially still in my top 10 songs ever. Love that album. The title track's very good too.

"Sultans of Swing" was the first real song I ever played in front of people (it was at the fair in NC).

Why does Strictly Come Dancing coincide with a lull in SR activity?

hola. someone appears to be using my stereo room to watch 'Merlin'... a truly, truly dreadful program.
Think I'm going to head off away from the fire, though cold, to listen to something.

I had a lovely day. I went shopping with my wife, and sold furniture in order to pay for her purchases. It was for her birthday from a couple of weeks ago, though.
I also made home made potato chips. Now the house smells like grease.

Haha, that's good to hear. My day's been rather mixed and uneventful.

Pretty much. I hardly have any homework anymore because I've done nearly all of it for the entirety of the semester. This morning too I was really in a downer mood, where I didn't feel content doing anything. As a result, I've been feeling extremely lazy today as I've hardly done anything but sit on my ass. The day's gotten better as it has progressed though, I suppose.

Well, we spent $137 on my wife's new clothes. And she only bought one shirt, a small coat, and a pair of shoes.
I could have bought a dozen prog records for that.
I did get Wish You Were Here for ten bucks, though. I know all the songs well, but never owned the album- partly because I don't really think it's that great. It's not even in my top five Pink Floyd albums.

Wow. That's one reason I am currently grateful for being single. WYWH was always my 2nd favorite Floyd album, right behind Animals. The title track is the best.
