One reason the Special Collaborators are just that is that they're right on on this one. This video is not their finest hour, but it's for concert and Alan's charity promotional purposes, which entitles them to forgiveness. Now, if their whole show performance sounded like this, then it would be a rip-off, not for Anderson being left out, but because of sonic sloppiness. Kind of like Aerosmith was until they cleaned up their act.
Pussy G, you're thus far a one-trick pony. My advice is to let it go, and find something positive to share.

Glad to be online at this time and be the first to agree.
Top choice... I understand from friends who know that if you sit near the gentleman at a football match the chances of striking up a conversation are non-existant. About the game, not just Genesis.
Still, it must be so awkward to be the only one in a band not to have had a private education...
It's not that I can't find worth in anything, it's just that I can't find worth in enough.

White looks okay but McGuire/Squire looks like the weird uncle who shows up at family reunions and only mumbles "I used to be in a band..."

Chris hasn't missed many meals, it would seem. Perhaps "Whale out of Water" wouldn't be an inappropriate observation?

^You certainly have an axe to grind, don't you? Again, you're clearly in possession of information gleaned from years of close personal contact - or you're making it up.

^I've always loved his music, and I used to admire him as a person, but his treatment of Jon Anderson at a terrible time in Jon's life is despicable. That's my opinion. If you don't agree, fine. We just don't share the same code of ethics and morals.

^ You don't know anything about my morals. It's one thing to be dismayed by what you perceive as shabby treatment, but it's another to repeatedly publicise it. My morals wouldn't let me do that.

If you've any regard for the musical legacy of YES... (and are possessed of a weak stomach)... DO NOT watch this video!!!
On the other hand, if you've ventured forth and viewed the video, perhaps you'll be so kind as to elucidate your fellow prog-rockers with the answer to the following query:
What could possibly have possessed Chris Squire to so thoroughly disgrace himself and trash the musical legacy of Yes in the process?
Is it his desperate attempt to hang-on, at any price, to his long-lost Rock stardom?
Is it his gluttonous, whorish appetite to milk every last penny from the Yes cash-cow?
Or has he simply become a sad, demented, senile, old man?
Do tell...
Dear me.
I can understand how a fan of '70's Yes (or '90's Yes, for that matter) would be dissappointed in seeing this, but hell, they are playing OWNER!!!! Yes, it's a really crappy song, but it's prob one of the better versions of it that I've heard in a lineup without Rabin. (They prob didn't allow Howe to come along because he seems to intentionally trash this one whenever he has to play it.) This is my first chance to hear the new singer and he seems to have the chops.
Jon and Wakey's lack of involvement is tragic, but if the other three want to tour and can put out a good product, more power to them. Anybody who is outraged about this probably has hours and hours of listening material on vinyl or CD that will make them happy instead.

I won't support any video from the FauxNews channel or anyone trying to cash in on the Yes name.....mainly the FauxNews part. I'm glad that I didn't get tix for this show when it comes to St. Louis. Dreadful.

I'm too old to keep up w/stuff like this, I guess. First of all, what the hell are they doing on FOX??? Any exposure is good exposure? Now hanging out on the right wing Nazi channel is OK??? Former candidate Huck has gone from fundamental Christian preacher to hip happening host? He says how "pumped" he is & then calls Chris Squire "McGuire". I couldn't even watch the song; just Huck's intro was cringe-worthy enough for me.
