Yeah Anotine! Kick around! It's not for people under 30 either, but I'm here .
You know what's funny Pat? I don't even know who the next Canadian
Prime Minister will be and I spent most of last night glued to CNN to
watch that coverage.

Yes, but say what you will about Bush, at this point I think he knows how badly he's sucked, and is going to be very quiet until January 20. The final thing he'll do to draw ire is a massive round of presidential pardons right before leaving office (something pretty much every President does). Also Jared, Obama will be selecting his cabinet in short order, so we'll get to "know" the new administration before he's inaugurated. But we will have to see next year what kind of agenda the government wants to pursue.

yes, that's quite fair, Pat...I hope everything works out well for you and your country, although I certainly don't envy the economic mess which Barack is going to have to work through...
admittedly, its not quite the same as Herbert Hoover's succession of Calvin Coolidge in 1928 (as the 'Dam' hadn't quite burst...if you can excuse that dreadful pun.. ), but I think it may take him both 4 year terms to get your economy back on track...
anyway, for all those in Ohio, Detroit and Portland who have lost their homes, jobs and feeling of self worth, I sincerely hope that there is a rosier tomorrow...
