Sorry.  I wasn't quite quick enough with the delete post.  It was an attempt at humor, but could be offensive, although not intended.

Yay!Big smile Although I did get an automatic call from someone asking me to take a poll recently. I normally hang up, but this time I thought, "What the heck?" and answered 'undecided' for every question. I'm hoping that it messes up the results a bit.LOL

My home telephone went dead this weekend.  I didn't find out until late last night when my friend called me on my cell phone.  I actually have no idea how long the phone might have been out for.  I debated about calling to have them fix it before tomorrow.  I remember the last Presidential election, I got home from work and had 10 messages on the machine.  I'd never felt more popular.

Poor Pat.  That's what happens when you live in a key(stone) state.

I need more listens.  I enjoyed it musically, but I wasn't too keen on the vocals.

^^ It must make you a bit fed up to learn that overthe past month, I've seen Threshold, Karnataka, The Reasoning, Panic Room and Pendragon in concert, Scott, with Marillion & Mostly Autumn still to come...Embarrassed

how are you getting on with The Reasoning albums?  Rachel Jones (Cohen) has a great voice...and she's very bouncy on stage...LOL

Did my picture make it to the Pendragon show?  I listened to The World last night so that I could be there in spirit.

Not fed up at all.  A bit jealous though.   I'd love to see most of those bands, and probably all of them if I were familiar with Karnataka and Panic Room.  Hey I got to see Tiles and Matthew Parmenter, and next month if things go according to plan, I'll get to see Ryan Parmenter, Matthew Parmenter solo, and Discipline, when rumor is they will be playing their brand new 25 minute epic. Clap  And then in December I'll get to see King's X for the first time.  Different bands, but ones that I am happy to see.

I'm liking The Reasoning albums quite a bit upon first listen.  Rachel Jones (Cohen) does have a great voice.

Great.  I'm glad that you had such a great weekend.  I went out trick or treating with my sister and her two boys on Friday for Halloween.  But I spent most of the rest of the weekend in my Laz-Y-Boy Recliner listening to music, watching football, and spamming PA.  It was pretty noneventful.

Changing the subject a bit, I can't believe that the Pistons traded Chauncy Billups and Antonio McDyess to Denver for Allen Iverson.  He's a heckuva scorer, but I've never liked that guy and he has never won wherever he went.  Add him with Rasheed and we now have two of the least likeable players in the league on the Pistons now.  I guess it'll be interesting to see how much this effects the team chemistry.

Hi Alex.  It's been a pretty quiet day for the shredders today.  How's it going?

Pretty well!

Sorry for my late response. I hadn't checked the Just for Fun section specifically because I was going on a little pseudo-rant in the SR and because I'm multitasking.

How have you been?

I'm not doing too bad.  Are you familiar with The Pineapple Thief?  Seeing that Porcupine Tree is high up on your list of top artists I think that The Pineapple Thief might appeal to you.
