Well I'm not down with much American beer I'm afraid... I tend almost exclusively drink stuffed brewed in Melbourne, since it's costs less than beer coming in from the states. I've never actually had Bud, Miller or Coors...indeed, of the 3, the only one I remember seeing around Melbourne is Coors beer. I'll give it a whirl if I ever remember to drink it when I have a chance next. They don't sell much over here, and most of my friends tend to buy Aus made beer anyway. Speaking of beer.... I haven't had one since yesterday morning (no NOT THAT TIME of morning, I mean after midnight during a party kind of morning) ![]() Not sure if you guys have ever seen this beer (unless perhaps you watch some movies set in Melbourne ![]() Among my favorite beer. Shame they reduced the alcoholic content in them though ![]() |

I'm not familiar with the Carlton Draught. They used to show some pretty funny commercials from Foster's on TV, but I don't think that Ihave seen any in a while and I've never actually drank a Fosters.

Foster isn't bad either. I don't go out of my way to purchase it, but I don't pass it up if someone offers it to me.
I don't usually drink light beer, but I found Foster's Light to be strangely nice for light beer ![]() I honestly don't really recall any Foster's commercials in recent times, but then again I barely watch TV, I'm more of an internet surfer. Some of the Australian beer commercials would somehow make me feel literally embarrassed after watching them, because they were so corny ![]() I would always be left thinking "I feel embarrassed for not having left the room while such a corny commercial was on" ![]() |

A Change of Seasons is now playing on the Shred Room speakers. Since the thirty-somethings don't seem interested in dropping by I might as well play some stuff that the Suede Roomers don't mind hearing through the walls. Besides they might stop by and I could get a good laugh when they step on the banana peel in front of the door.

well, here's a Shed Roomer...who has just stopped by to express his approval of what's coming out of the speakers....
![]() I wholeheartedly approve of your preaching to the masses, Scott...
![]() Incidentally, Amaseffer: Slaves For Life is on, over here....

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I haven't heard the Amaseffer CD yet. I am intrigued by what I have read on it. I gather from the What Are You Listening to Now posts that you don't like it, or is it that it needs to grow on you still.

^^ don't like it isn't right. Musically, its actually excellent, but its one of those frustrating albums where the story and concept is of such importance, that it dictates the music to the point that at times it sounds like a movie soundtrack.
by now, I reckon you've come to the conclusion that I don't like concept albums...
![]() ![]() having said that, I actually think this album would be just up your street...

Voice in the Light is a very good album; quite enjoyable. The Amaseffer album is on "the list". I think my list of wanted albums is longer that Santa's list of naughty and nice boys and girls.

It's alright Jared. The suggestions are all good. I justify all of my purchases to myself with the following: Despite the above comments, I very rarely drink, I don't smoke, I don't gamble, and I rarely go to the movies anymore. I'm not into collecting shoes or stamps. CDs on the other hand are an addiction. The good thing about CDs is that once I take a drag on them, or slam them down they are still around to be "dragged on" and "slammed down" for another day. The wallet might think differently, but hey as long as I'm sitting the complaints are muffled.

Wow. Haha. I forgot that DT does a cover of Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' from Journey on A Change of Seasons. That is pretty wild.
