What kind of TFK songs are your favorites?

Short: the ones ranging from 2-6 minutes. Usually short instrumentals, tight and more accessible tunes. 

Medium/long: Songs ranging from around 6-11 minutes. Usually those well developed tunes with long instrumental sections.

shorter epic: those epic-structured 11-18 min long songs that they usually do in every album.

longer epics: the longest stuff.

This is about TFK (The Flower Kings), not every band in general!

	The Flower Kings have always been their best in the longer songs. I'm inclined to vote for the longest category, but the 11-18 minutes category includes some great tunes like "Silent Inferno."

	For me it's a tough call between their medium/long songs and their mini-epics. While their short songs are usually pretty nice, of course it's the longer ones that are really great. However, some of their really long epics tend to drag a bit in places. Not always, of course there are exceptions, but I think when they go over 20 minutes, the chances of their being some superfluous stuff increases. So it's a toss-up between 6-11 and 11-18 for me.

	6-11 fits best ... there you can find a lot of progressive longtracks, but also art pop tunes from Pink Floyd and others.

	medium long although some of the best Doors songs would fall into the short epic as well.

	oh man, sorry I wasn't clear, but with TFK, I meant "The Flower Kings", this is not about every band in general

	Dude, the longer epics, most of their best songs are epics; Stardust We Are, The Truth Will Set You Free, Devil's Playground, I Am the Sun (two parts but still)
