I don't know if it is the right place for that I have a question but not the whole answer... What is the complete list of bands (prog or not) which have covers designed by Roger Dean ?
I have already : - Yes (including Howe, Wakeman and ABWH) - Asia - Greenslade - Osibisa - Uriah Heep - Gentle Giant ?? - Pink Floyd -...?????? (I don't remenber, I don't recall, I've got no memory of anything at all |

I found this: After becoming known for the unique album cover designs he created for bands such as Osibisa and Gun in the 1970's, Roger Dean was contracted to produce a cover for the YES album " Close to the Edge". Since then his work has become synonymous with the band, producing YES'S classic logo and several of their record covers. on this website: http://www.giggallery.com/page/past.html and I think this is the cover that is referred to:
I just downloaded this album. The song 'Race With The Devil' is on it, which became a hit for Girlschool, the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal band. |
