This here, I'm a this person. I'm pretty happy with what I've got and there's no need to go there looking for anything else. This being the current position, that's mostly unnecessary.

If "this" is the plectrum I have in my mouth and "that" is the plectrum I don't have in my mouth, I prefer "that", just because it's probably less moist. Unless, of course, if it's in someone else's mouth. In that case I need to know who's mouth it's in before making the decision.

Why does it always have to be this or that, us or them, black or white???
Why can't we all just get along, hold hands and sing songs of joy and fellowship?

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Life is about choices. We do our best to embrace all but there is always a preference, even if it is a subconscious preference.

The Other Thing... if we don't go looking for things outside the norm, how can we progress?

I went with the other thing because usually when talking music "prog" is usually the other thing. You don't hear much prog on the radio these days.

Since I'm out of work, everything is pretty much a "that."

In fact, the question has no literal meaning since the pronouns should refer to something mentioned or tacitly understood.

The other thing... I'm open minded, i like moving onto something new. This and that are pretty old schoo, and i've had enough experience with both of them as it stands.
