I won't get it 'til later in the year, mind you.  A pre-order is good though. Big%20smile

One minor issue... I own all 5 studio albums but one of them is not ReR Megacorps, rather it's the US version.  It's the same CD though... so it's a very minor issue.

I'd like to have all of them as ReR Megacorps UK though. Embarrassed

OK, time for another bash at the Saablic Tan battle in IWD II. Bloody difficult stuff. Not only does he have  4 fighters almost as good as mine, epic magical ability, a pet cleric and another pet wizard and a bloody greater Feyhr for symbol of despair, but I also don't get run-around room. The only plus is that he attacks his own people too, and I have a rogue with evasion.

I've not played IWD II (only the first game so far) but I have played a lot of BG II.

There's a battle in BG II that you can encounter (by choice) very early on in the game, when you enter the upstairs of a tavern.

It's a bloody tough fight and I had a very good troupe as well.  My dwarven fighter was rock 'ard and can solo pretty well... but my NPCs tend to bite the dust a bit too often.

Anyhow, even though the fight is optional (and I could have left it 'til later), I tried my damnedest to finish it without loss.

The tactics I used were tough.  I actually ended up invising my thief I think and using backstab... plus I used my mage spells a lot... it's surprising how useful Magic Missiles are.

However, the key to success in BG II seems to be Silence 12' Radius for some odd reason. Big%20smile

However, in this case, I just hid all my NPCs out of the way and got my mage to throw a stinking cloud and some Magic Missiles in. Big%20smile  Then I sent in my Dwarven fighter to solo the main magic users who were casting mind spells. Ouch

Hm, yeah, that's a tough 'un. last time I did that early on, I fireballed the room, actually used defensive spells and potions, memorised see invisibility, got decent arrows and backstabbed the wizard. Fighter/Mage all the way.

Could be less than fun as a solo character, but then you'd need to get the boots of speed early, which are, IIRC, around there.

Currently I'm working on an improved invisibility thing to help this evil wizard go berserk towards his own side and not mine. Shame there's nothing like breach which I can find for it.

I'm guessing it set you back 100 quid, then?

Does the box contain all the remastered studio releases as well, or is it all unreleased stuff?

It wasn't the wizard that was the pain for me... it was that thing with the sphere round it that was the pain!

Oh and the blasted thief escaped with some decent gear, I was well annoyed!  And yes, he does go invisible too... grrr, I always try to thwack him as early as possible to stop him escaping. LOL

But those mind spells are a pain... half my party seem to get confused (except my Dwarf who I think had a good helmet on).

My memory is a bit blurry though...

Actually, I think I Stinking Clouded them... as well as threw in an Entangle spell, to stop them moving. Big%20smile  That seemed to work quite well.

Just unreleased stuff, I believe.

9 CDs
2 DVDs
3 Boxes (one which is an empty box to store the 5 studio albums)

Hmm, maybe it is the studio albums as well... oops if it is! Embarrassed

Yeah, it's all unreleased stuff.
I might have to wait for the reviews to start coming before pulling the trigger.

I just don't think I can pass off a huge box set as something I already own.  WinkLOL

I'll probably make it a Christmas present.
