Cigarettes are even more expensive in the UK too, and I figure weed is cheaper?  I could be wrong with that, but the US loves to waste taxpayer money to kill a generally harmless plant.  Oh, and I saw a UK cig box and it says in big letters "smoking kills" instead of the US surgeons general warning which is pretty funny.

Yeah, same here. Then again, I absolutely hated any sort of death metal "growling" before I finally was able to penetrate into Opeth a while back, so most of their albums took me at least 4 or 5 spins to hit me anyway.

Mikael has one of the best "Growls" and one of the best Voices I've ever heard. Not to mention the music he writes is some of the best I've ever heard as well.

I agree with that. Clap

Smoking Phil Collins vinyl is way more obscure and satisfying.

Phil actually smoked a lot of weed in the 70's. I've heard he referred Genesis' Lamb tour as his "weed tour" LOL

Yep, I don't smoke (except occasionally when drunk and someone is kind enough to offer me one) but cigarettes are expensive.

Roll-up tobacco is a bit cheaper but still expensive.

Our cigarette packets are amusing... some of them say "Smoking causes impotence" in them as well.

An 1/8 of weed is maybe £30 or so... not had any in ages and I don't buy it, so it may have come down in price.

An 1/8 of solid is about £15.

Edit: I think it's £5.25 for a 12 pack of cigarettes.

8 minutes away from eargasms if James is right, which, no offense, is rare.

Roll-up tobacco tastes better as well, but that's my opinion.

One gram weed is about £15-20 here. Solid maybe £10-15

I'm not sure about legalizing all drugs, but not having MJ legal is ridiculous.  But I'm sure everyone in this country would love to ban tobacco as well, only there's still too many smokers.  (disclaimer:  I don't smoke anything, haven't in a long time).

Patrick, when's the cycling and rowing on?

I want to see us Brits trounce everyone. Big%20smile

'cause after that, we won't win much... if anything, 'cause we're useless at athletics.

Don't know, I'll have to check the schedule.  Some British woman who apparently is a famous marathon runner didn't win her event - she was in a lot of pain at the end of the race.  She does great in other things, won 2 NYC marathons in fact, but they say her showing at the Olympics (both 2004 and this year) have been disappointing.

Paula Radcliffe.

She needs to put on weight... and stop running events she won't win anymore.

She was good in her day but she's not now.
