Topic: LeeAnne Whitaker,Calling All & Cesar Inca Posted: August 04 2008 at 19:10 |
Hello, Wonderful Progressive Rock Family,
Right off the page, I will humbly tell you that I am brand new to this sort of thing. My name is LeeAnne Whitaker. Some of you may know of my husband Stanley Whitaker's music from Happy The Man, Pedal Giant Animals, Stan & LeeAnne or Oblivion Sun. I only recently have started to reach out to many beautiful fans and friends in this community in order to share information regarding Stanley's music and health news. I was heart warmed on a difficult part of my day recently, when I saw a headline posted by Cesar Inca. He was sending best thoughts to Stanley while we tread the unchartered waters of his recent cancer diagnosis. I wanted to send special regards and my most gracious thanks you Cesar, and to all who are sending positive thoughts our way. I wonder if anyone would like carry on this thread with me, I have found that printing these well wishes and placing them into a book for him has been equal to medicine for him. If you'd like to participate, again my name is LeeAnne and I'd love to hear from you, P.S. My mother recently traveled to Peru and adored the entire spirit she felt there. Much love, LeeAnne

Happy the Man was one of the first bands that got me seriously interested in progressive rock. When I found out they were fellow Americans, I was doubly pleased. Stanley's guitar playing was almost unmatched in rock for its delicacy and perfect compliment to Kit Watkin's keys. My very, very best to you, Stanley, and your family.
