If you're still wondering, I do. | Nah I figured it out. |
Yeah it's really simple.
Logic, however, I still need to figure out

I remember the Verve
they were a particularly dire britpop band with their "drugs don't work" romantic drippy radio pollution and hour long refrains because Oasis did them too
of course it's possible that you're talking about a different Verve

nah, same one. Better than Oasis tho. Oasis = White Albums and Abbey Road era Beatles clones + being assholes The Verve = Sgt. Pepper's era Beatles + My Bloody Valentine + copyright lawsuit with the Rolling Stones

Wow, I haven't bought any music in over a week (downloaded some though). This must be the longest I've went in years.

Been busy enjoying what's left of the summer. Travelled home-home to my parents and been spending a lot of time with family and friends. But I'm back now, ready to make your life miserable

I too haven't bought anything in a while..last thing was Watershed and Lightbulb Sun in the same day.
A few days ago I did download:
Caravan - In the land of the grey and pink, and for girls who grow plump in the night
Egg - The Polite Force
and I'm more than halfway through:
LTE 2
John Petrucci - Suspended Animation
VDGG - Still Life & Godbluff
and Sleepy Time Gorilla Museum - ?

I tried not buying music. I failed. But I do have rationalizations that make sense to me.

I think the opening of Aksak Maboul's debut rips off Zan-zan-zawa-veia

I may go to a huge record store in Princeton before school starts (and two days after that is my birthday), I'd sell some LPs too (parent's ones that gather dust), and buy CDs and LPs although I might not be able to fit my turntable in the dorm at first, since I'll have two roommates instead of one. Or I'll just wait a week and go to the local places, but the huge one seems really cheap and a great selection.
