I borrowed The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker from a huge gamer friend cause I said id never played it, and he decided i better borrow it and beat it before i could continue on living. He said the same thing when i said id never played Resident Evil 4 (which i believe to be a top 3 game of all time, freiking period.) Too bad every time i go to play it, (it is great by the way though, nice art direction regardless of what people said when it came out) I end up listening to an album or jumping on my drumset. DARN YOU HUMAN EQUATION!!!!... why are you so entertaining?....must resist...motion personified alpha....

1 Chronicles 13:7-9
Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets. |

Do what I do: mute Wind Waker and blast your own music. It makes the sailing much more interesting.

Hehe, yah. I actually do that with almost all videogames. I don't play that often, usually when im at friends houses. Im the guy who picks the music to the blast... i bring my Ipod. Yep, my friends aren't even prog fans and they like my music, they just cant resist good music, hehe. Its sad too cause like when we played Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I don't own a Wii, let alone the game, only the gamecube melee. And i owned all of them, about 8 guys at the game they all own... and have logged many hours in. How sad when the gamers are beat down by the musician... ...Who uses Peach in 1v1's, and JigglyPuff and Toon Link in group fights... Yah now THATS sad, when Jigglypuff ends up being the last one standing. I guess those drumming reflexes are helpful in the videogame world too, hehe.

I'm getting into Sins of a Solar Empire. Seems quite interesting, but the jury's still out.
Does anyone have Mass Effect? I'm thinking of getting it but I'm growing very suspicious of over-enthusiastic reviews.

GAAAHHH. My GTA IV, after two months of working perfectly, just did that opening credits freeze thing that people complained about when it came out. At first I thought there might be a scratch so I put in my disc repair thing, and now it won't read at all. So now I'm stuck with a bum copy of my favorite game ever that I can't exchange. f**k.

I feel the same way. Except I'm looking forward to Storm of Zehir, the second expansion for Neverwinter Nights 2. But that's it. Not even Fallout 3 impresses me. Yes Siam, I am insane. |

I thought that, the freezing problem was fixed by a patch. |

Instead of using a disc repair thing, I just use toothpaste. It works really well, actually. |

Final Fantasy IV remake <33333
And also the newly-released (and super-obscure) Izuna 2. Miles ahead of the first, which was ambitious but a bit short-featured, this one's finally trying new things with the Roguelike system... |

I just ordered Rune Factory of the interwebz. It sounds like a cross between Harvest Moon and Zelda, and that sounds like a hella good combo to me.

GTA could be considered more of an RPG, in its literal sense, than a Final Fantasy game.
Think about it. |

No.
No. No. GTA is not an RPG in that sense. No. |

If you take it literally almost any game is a "role playing game," but I don't think anybody who knows what an RPG actually is can claim The Sims and GTA are part of the genre.
My own list would probably include: FF6 and 7, Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, hmm... then maybe FFX (the only RPG I really got into on PS2) or Ogre Battle 64 (more strategy though). If you include adventure games like Zelda, which is more RPG than GTA but still not really, then my list would change. :P |

Me... well:
1. Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal 2. Planescape: Torment 3. Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast 4. Final Fantasy VI 5. Lufia II I'd like to put in Neverwinter Nights but I've already put in three D&D titles. Those are the ones I've played. Even those SNES JRPGs are better than Diablo and Diablo 2. Oh and yes, if you take it literally, Mario and Sonic are RPGs, 'cause you play a Role and you explore areas and stuff... Although there was Mario RPG of course. Not a bad game actually.
