I'm not that excited by that announcement, like all Blizzard games it'll initially look good and be fun to play but, I'll definitely find it really dull within a week or so.
I'm personally more interested in the release of the downloadable content for the PC version of Mass Effect, it looks like it'll add a lot to the game. |

I never completed that game, came close but the puzzle thing at the very end reminded me of Wind Waker and turned me off.

I think it's the worst of the console 3D Zelda games, but it's still a hella good game.

I thought Wind Waker was worse. It had potential- I liked the cell shading and exploring the islands (sailing wasn't too bad), but the back-and-forth item exchange thing really turned me off.

The only bad part about Wind Waker was the sailing, and I found that by muting the game and blasting my own music I made that considerably more enjoyable.
Also, I admittedly am a little biased toward the game because the Wind Waker shadow temple is probably my favorite Zelda temple ever. Edited by rileydog22 - June 28 2008 at 15:59 |

I've mostly been playing Mass Effect and Race Driver Grid recently, although hopefully later today or at worst tomorrow the PC Engine which I ordered from Japan should arrive, so I'll soon be playing Japanese 8/16bit (technically speaking the PC Engine is both) games.

I'm not in a good mood with Panasonic at the moment, the two decent TVs I own claim to be compatible with NTSC RF signals, they aren't as a result all I'm getting from my PC Engine (arrived just before lunch) is a rubbish black and white image with no colour. This leaves me with the task of modding my PC Engine to produce an RGB output that I can then put through a converter to get a decent image.
It's that or get a new TV which would be complete overkill |

Just wrapped up Grand Theft Auto IV and achieved my goal of 100%(finding all 200 pigeons was a chore!).

Well done, I hope to get GTA 4 fairly soon as I've finally got around to getting a current generation console. I traded in my PSP and games which I've not used for over a year and managed to get a used 360 Core system and Lost Odyssey, I had to take the console back and swap it as it was blocked from Xbox Live as the previous owner was a pirate who had installed illegal firmware. I've now got a premium that's missing it's hard drive as Gamestation didn't have any replacement Cores, so I've actually got a small upgrade for free. I've also managed to find a copy of Project Gotham Racing 3 for £3.99 (inc p&p) which arrived today.
I managed to solve the problem with my PC Engine by buying the interface unit for the cd rom add on which outputs a signal compatible with my TVs. Annoyingly yesterday the graphics card on my PC failed so I've had to replace it, I really didn't want to spend £130 on an upgrade yet I was ideally going to wait until next year but the card I've bought (an ATI 4850) is a significant upgrade over my old one (an Nvidia 320Mb 8800GTS). |
