It may very well be that the next wave in the music industry is to make the cellphone the center of a wireless, totally portable relationship with our music - both audio & video.

How excited (or not) are you about this?

I do like the fact that my Zune can.  Loaded it up with videos from my CDs like Marillion's Marbles, And Tull's Passion Play, Robert Wyatt's interview on Dondestan, etc. plus a bunch of You Tubes downloads.  But as far as my cell phone goes, I've got a simple model that handles phone calls only, although it does have a handy dandy tip calculator.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I don't have a cell phone right now. The only video purposes cell phones are good for is for those drunken or hyper active moments and you need to film your friend's saying ridiculous things, so nope, don't see the point of watching music videos on phones.

I do have a cellphone, but I use it exclusively for communicating with people, through either calls or text messages. I am not interested in using it for taking pictures, watching videos, listening to music, and what not... I have other equipment for that, and I'm perfectly fine with it.

Ditto.

If I want to watch something I'll do it at home. Cell screens are tiny anyways, and shaped strangely, I think it would turn out looking not that great. Although I don't often find myself looking at my cell phone and saying "I wish this thing would play video".

I don't have one either, people are so absorbed into their phones and personally I'd rather not spend $40 a month on something that's more of a burden than useful.
