One of my favourites! But I have to admit you need to be in the mood for the spoken parts ("We're tired of making love"). LOLEmbarrassedConfused

"Tips zum Selbstmord" (=how to commit suicide) by the Krautrock-band Necronomicon.
At least it has the most misleading title and the worst lyrics of all time. Musically it's also incredibly bad.

Pyzamaze's "Melancholy Beast" was a big regret for me.

Probably Focus Con Proby.
My audible initial reaction would have been enough for a lifelong ban from the internet.

I knew that somebody would say that ,because an album that has this ratings has many fans and appreciators of course. possibly it is not the really worse album i have heard, but it was for sure the most disappointing, and I feel a bit frustated about it particularly beacause of the ratings and reviews i've read about it. possibly i've heard worse albums, but my expectation for them were not as higher as in this one. I still believe my opinion could change in the future because this is always possibleSmile. i'll give it time.

I got it out of the library. Listened to all of it. The only track I was able to stand listening to more than once was "Elephant Talk". I'm sorry, but that is probably the most disappointing progressive album that I have ever spent time listening to.

And then I understand why KC had its end in 1974.
Bach, Ma, Bros, Déia, Dante.

The album that comes to mind is Wind and Wuthering by Phil Collin's Genesis. After sutch a sweet and nice album that A trick of the tail was, the band and our litle favo Phily realesed this album of uninspired tierd and boring old prog, yuikes.

Once again I must comment,

You should listen to it more closely, it is more creative than a typical Prog album. Well I guess it has non-popular music elements in it that do not sit well with some fans, but its worth is in the experiment and concept it is trying to accomplish. It is called Discipline for a reason! The picking control that Mr Fripp does on that album is test of concentration and sheer willpower. One of the best albums, as regards to qualifying musicianship they have ever done. It is albums like that, which bring them above the Progressive rock genre into something academically recognized.

For me-hands down-FALLING INTO INFINITY.  I was underwhelmed by the pop-like songs, the lack of heaviness, the lack of any discernable vocal melodies...the only thing that caught my ear was the clever production.  The other one I absolutely DISLIKE is FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION.  IMHO, it's worse than anything Genesis did in the 80's.  Yikes.  Horrible.
In the beginning is the future, and the future is at hand...

I think I saw this in another thread. CreepyDead.

Anyway the worst album I've ever heard it's got to be Anathema's A Natural Disaster. I was totally disapointed since I had gotten Alternative 4, Judgment & A Fine Day To Exit which are indeed good albums.

I bought Scenes From a memory by Dream Theatre. I like Dream theatre enough. The singing Killed me ( I had to listen to all My genesis and Van der Graaf Generator albums after to stop myself from losing hope in mankind). I guess the idea was good enough but fell flat. John Petrucci although, like normal, kicked a serious amount of a**. Just couldnt handle it.

When will I ever learn that Marillion without Fish is for the most part, boring.
I paid less than 4 dollars for it though.....
Sure am glad I wasn't  in the audience to experience it in person.
