Just a quick note from an infrequent forum poster, but veteran prog reviewer...

I too have been experiencing the exact same problem when trying to add (or edit earlier!) reviews recently. Didn't know if it was me or the site, but now I know it obviously it ain't just me...

Tried deleting cookies: no go.

Tried (successfully) changing my password: no go.

Tried (again, successfully) logging out and logging back in, several times: no go.

Tried using a different computer altogether (elicitly, at work): no go.

I even tried (desperately) restoring my computer to an earlier time (late January) when none of this was happening, but since it wasn't a glitch on this end the attempt went nowhere...

The frustrating thing is that I am obviously logged in and can still post to the forums (and here's the proof), but that same friggin'   Response object error 'ASP 0156 : 80004005'  keeps me from reviewing albums..!

Anyway, I probably wasn't alone in contacting M@X (didn't know who else to turn to), so hopefully some computer-savvy prog nut out there is even now feverishly trying to solve this mystery...

I wonder: was some procedure on the site changed or updated recently that might have caused it? And how many unlucky Progheads have been affected so far?

Awaiting resolution...
