Barre ! Never got into Genesis... Barre can play some real mean guitar and really gentle and soft. He's great, he can play much more than only prog.

Holy cow! You're putting a very competent and respected but technically rather limited guitarist up against a man who is admired by both rock and classical musicians as technically brilliant and innovative, yet people still vote for the former. Amazing.
Sorry, but it's Hackett by huge margin, even though I like Tull.

Although Hackett is no hack with an axe, Barre sets the bar for me in this round. Martin it is.

Glad Barre is keeping it respectable. He truly rocks and has done so for a good long time. But Hackett... I can't go against my heart.

The tournament doesn't indicate whether you're voting for the theoretically best guitarist or your favourite. ;P

I had to go with Hackett, even though I prefer Tull to Genesis for the most part.
