What you posted was good. I still prefer Johnny Cash. Walk The Line ftw.

You might be surprised that some of us grew up in Wyoming with his stuff blaring out some radio or bar constantly.  Not to mention Willie, Waylon, Amazing Rhythm Aces, Jerry Jeff, Gary Stewart, and whoever that guy was who sang "Pop A Top Again"...

Now I find myself with an irresistable urge to go listen to some Alan Jackson.

Most new country is eww though. Hank Williams Jr and Sr are great as well. Okkervil River are an amazing Alt-Country band by the way.

pfff... I'm from Oregon originally... you are are flakes and we hope you all fall in the ocean. I'll take Portland any day.. just a beautiful.. and you can actually afford to live there LOL

They're everywhere in this part of the country...  I enjoy it. .but to be honest.. a little goes a long way.  Been to a number of festivals.. and after an hour or so ...after the shock and awe of the skills of the players wears off...  I'm usually nodding off ... or looking around for the 2nd coming of Daisy Duke LOL
