I'm going to try and become the site's Pop/Indie Rock-specialist.

Seriously, though, is it totally necessary to write a biography for a band to become a prog reviewer? Have everybody done this who is one?

Of course a good start would be to learn how to spell Collaborators Disapprove

But so has the next guy. I`ll read any guy`s review. I also find the worst reviewers in general are the guys who write for NME, Rolling Stone, The WIre ( got to be the worst ). So for me I don`t think it really matters whether thhere`s that title underneath the Avatar. I think it`s important to give the most honest and entertaining evaluation as possible. My two cents.Big%20smile
The tag "Expert" is not as common as you would suppose - we only have two collaborators with that title.

We do have some 20+ "Specialists" which has a slightly different meaning - someone can specialise without necessarily being an expert.

should be 3 LOL

easy actually ...... wanna be a Prog Reviewer   write good reviews LOL  Want to be more than that...reviews are not unnecessary..... necessary hahhaha.  There have been several that got way up in 'rank' as you call it with like 5 or 10 reviews or less like in my case.  I had none and was told to write them LOL  It is about showing you know prog.. and have an interest in getting involved in the site and working for the man so to speak. In short having an opinion.. sticking to it.... though being right or at least coherent  helps as well. In all seriousness though...  those kinds of posters are generally  recognized by the admins or genre teams and then 'invited' to join as collaborators.
