As regards KC, anything on Red, but mostly "The Great Deceiver" - not melodic by any means, but an extremely expressive performance. As to LTiA, Wetton's vocals are the reason why I knocked a star off one of my all-time favourite albums.. Enough said!Wink

As to UK, I am particularly fond of "Rendezvous 6:02", which I find Wetton tackles way better than "Book of Saturdays" or "Exiles". About Asia, the less said, the betterDead...

However, any Wetton fans should check his performance on Steve Hackett's The Tokyo Tapes, where John sings the likes of "Watcher of the Skies" and "Firth of Fifth" with surprisingly good results - as well as his guest appearances on the Pink Floyd tribute album Back Against the Wall, where he masterfully interprets  "Mother" and "Hey You".

With King Crimson - Fallen Angel,The Night Watch,Book of Saturday,Exiles

With U.K. - In the Dead of Night,By the Light of Day

His backing vocals with Family were excellent, especially on Larf 'n' Sing,Children and My Friend the Sun

Whats with everyone hating on Asia? I believe it was John's second best performance, just short of King Crimson.

Because we're embarassed that way back when we liked Asia.   btw, I'll go with Starless followed closely by Fallen Angel.

Wetton is anything but a good singer.
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
