This more of a discussion topic but i still have some questions.

I'm decent enough at music theory, just wondering if you knew a website or scales that come in handy when soloing over dimished phrases hopefully ones i havent thought of as i seem to get stuck in the same shapes.

also i cant seem to get my rating freaking signature to be seen properly on pa.

try using a minor scale that has that particular diminished shape within, e.g. with Edim (or Edim7) try using the D melodic minor scale over the top (or the pure minor scale). works with me on my keyboards all the time. If it changes diminished chord like for say Dream Theatre or Debussy for example, simply change scale.
