(I'll sticky this one for a short while to make sure it gets seen)

After a slow start early 2007, and the departure of the first maintainer of this forum section, we made a splendid restart in November. Bands that were not as unsigned as they seemed at first have been added to PA, and many promising acts have been discovered. For this, a thank you is order for all those who have contributed.

Some special thanks for the people who are most involved here, especially since the beginning of this year:

  • band reviewers and music lovers sean and asimplemistake: thanks for volunteering to help out in making sure all bands get checked
  • andrea for submitting just about every Italian band in existence, and some from beyond the borders
  • all collabs who pick up bands from here to evaluate and where appropriate include in the main database
  • all others who hop in to comment and/or post new bands.
Let's keep this forum section alive and rolling!

Well, everyone is obviously doing a great job. I just went through all ten pages of unsigned bands and every one had at least one response, so nobody's lacking attention.
And for this great work, everyone naturally deserves one of these:

Next up (will take time, but we can share the load) I hope we can scan all submitted bands to see if they are still unsigned/unreleased - and filter out the ones that need to go to the subs.
