The issues I had the other week were because my computer was grinding to a halt and needed resetting, probably due to a number of things.  Firefox is quite bloated for starters, especially with lots of tabs open.  Secondly, I rarely clean my cache or my history, so everything just got slower and slower.

I reset the computer though and upon reloading Firefox, I found my tabs didn't save, but it did solve my speed issues.

Make sure you clean out your cache and history, as well as close down any possible bloatware that maybe running in the background.

Sure - you never know... But the fact that all these add, photo and other sites are invoked from every page on PA is in line with my explanation.

And by now, it's bed time. 1:30 already, and I have to go swimming with the kids at 8:30.

I've made an UPGRADE to the FORUM engine tonite from the 8.05a to the now up to date 9.06 version.

This upgrade includes the following features over the old version.

Version 9.06 (6th October 2007)

1. includes/version_inc.asp - updated version number
2. register.asp - removed the country drop down and replaced with text box
3. pm_outbox.asp - added in missing div closing tag
4. register.asp - fixed bug that would course permissions error when member API is enabled
