A band? Me and my mates. And then we'll play awesome songs that would have been released on a later stage.

Something like: Robert Fripp: Guitar Greg Lake: Vocals/Bass Roger Waters: Lyrics/Bass/Concepting Ian McDonald: Sax/Flutes Mel Collins: Sax/Flutes John Hiseman: Percussion Rick Wright: Keyboards
Just as there wasn't really a chance that Hackett could fit in too well with such an eclectic line-up. I doubt Wright would fit in either, but that won't stop me.
Meh, who am I kidding, I just want the original Crimson again.

Drums: Neil Peart - Yeah I know, obvious Guitar(s): Leslie West, Ronnie Montrose. Man, just think what the 2 of them could do. Bass: Stanley Clarke Keyboards: Rick Wakeman (When he's sober) Vocals: Tough one, I'd have to hear the music to pick a singer Basically, I see the rhythm section of Peart and Clarke as brilliant. Peart can be a "power" drummer when he needs to be. I think the 2 of them would play off themselves very well. The 2 guitars would be interesting. Neither was noted for "prog" but if you listen to some of Montrose stuff, before and after Hagar, the really stretches things out. I very under rated guitarist. West, would just be a fun animal to watch. Plowing through progression and what not. Sure, every knows "Mississippi Queen", but listen to other stuff he did on Theme From an Imaginary Western. I mean, that is a "prog" title. Wakeman could provide some glitter and he could probably help things stay together, but I wouldn't mind have Billy Preston pop in a tune or 2 just to funk things up a bit (it is the 70s after all) You could through Edgar Winter in the mix for the keyboards and other electronic etcetera. I don't know, maybe I'm showing some of blues roots. Is there such a thing as Prog Blues?
