After the last forum restructuring, the blog forum no longer shows up on the main page. This is a shame, with great articles like these in mind (random selection):

King Crimson biography
Rush - progressive rock?
Jazz Fusion - Ambiguity in the term's use?

But also, great articles like this should get a more prominent place:

Hammond Extravaganza Part 2 (no idea why this was posted in a different section...)

Now from my point of view, these articles are an asset to the site - they show that people who visit and work on PA know what they are talking about, which has at least some promotional value. This can be made more visible and beneficial in either of two ways:

1. Reinstate the inclusion of the latest Blog forum entry in the main page. This way, at least the submitters' efforts are honoured.

or, more appealing probably

2. Include a (collaborator or admin moderated) blog in the site. Technically, this could benefit from the same technology as review submission, and combined with an RSS feed it could serve as a dedicated promotional means.

Opinions welcome, I already submitted this to the admin team as a suggestion as well.

I stopped blogging and reviewing - so won't be handling requests. Promo's for ariplay can be sent to [email protected]
