I was just wondering if anybody has a COMPLETE collection of a band.

All their CD's, Dvd's & LP's (I don't care for singles&stuff). Would be kinda fun Big%20smile
I have none yet Cry

Minus LP's,

Jean-Michel Jarre (might miss a few items), Supertramp (same) and Dream Theater.

For stuff without DVD's: Tool, Zamla Mammaz Manna, Mr Bungle, Fantômas, Happy Family, Panzerpappa, Meshuggah, Symphony X and Atheist (there might be a few more though).

Holy crap!
My biggest collections are (Only Cd's):
Ozric Tentacles - 8 or 9, depending if you count the 2-in-1 as one or two.
Black Sabbath - 12
Jethro Tull - 8

I'm seriously planning on completing my Ozrics&Sabbath collections, but i "have" to buy other stuff aswell.

I've got Rush, Jethro Tull, Motörhead, Uriah Heep, Black Sabbath and Wigwam -1. Basically the Motörhead, Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep albums are my dad's old vinyls, Jt and Rush I've bought for myself. Oh, and Genesis too. Sometimes you just want t whole collection to show how much you love one band :) However, I don't have those collection cds/DVDs because I already have them all tracks, so I don't see why I should go and buy them twice.

I have every Rush and Dream Theater CD, and almost every Yes CD.  I'm sure you'll find plenty of "Rushheads" here that have that and more.  Also, I'm guessing you mean bands with a significantly sized catalog.  I mean, I have the complete collection of Cynic albums, but that's not impressive.  Wink

I listed bands with three or more albums only, except for Happy Family (which have only two albums).

LOL...and I've got Mind Key's complete discography....Wink

I guess my collection is compromised by the fact that I don't own a single music DVD.... (curiously enough, I don't ever 'watch' music outside of a live setting) but if we are talking complete catalouges of studio albums, then Yes, Rush, Eloy, Marillion, Kansas, Arena, Genesis and DT would make quite a start....Big%20smile
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

The only band I am 100% complete on is Pink Floyd: I have every vinyl LP, CD, VHS-tape and DVD. They are the only band I've bothered to duplicate every vinyl release with its CD replacement.

I am complete on many other bands in terms of individual recordings, (Porcupine Tree, Pain of Salvation, Ayreon, Opeth, Anathema, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Nightwish Embarrassed, Radiohead, The Muse, Japan, Talk Talk, Sigor Ros, Ulver, The Enid, Van der Graaf Generator... and many more non-prog) but not in every format, (nor would I want to be to be honest).
What?

I tend to be a completionist so I have many complete discographies.  But including videos I think that Enchant is the only band where I have the complete discography including the videos.

I have everything from Rush except for a couple of out-of-print videos released in the 80's.

There are probably many others in cases where the bands never released a video but offhand I am not sure who they might be.
