Alas, I agree.... apart from Tristania, who can still produce a bit of originality, and my "old" band (who I know didn't impress you much, but I don't hold grudges.... not for too long anywayWink)

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Obviously not, if Sam is supposed to be coming with him. LOL  She's got a busy week, she's at the same gig as me on Tuesday and possibly Thursday.

Small world.

Don't worry, there will be chairs galore...even though it's technically a standing gig, Lydney Town hall in well equipped to cope with those whose legs aren't up to all that standing....

Many thanks, Steve... the legs are absolutely fine..its the internal bits which aren't working....Ouch

I think we should be OK... despite being back in on Tuesday...

I still need to get another ticket for the missus, I keep forgetting!

I think you'll be able to pay on the door...

So hopefully they'll turn up!  Oh and they're coming via 1st class Royal Mail.  I'm glad they don't use TNT. LOL

Why, because you didn't want them blown in to pieces??Wink

Oh and Jared, at least I'll be able to spot who you are, if you have a plastic seat.  Hopefully we'll be able to meet up beforehand, of course, though.

I think your fizzog looks distinctive enough....Big%20smile

News on WT tickets: I 'phoned TicketWeb up and apparently they've yet to be dispatched, but hopefully they'll turn up soon.  If they're not here by Monday, they said call them again and arrange to pick them up from the box office.

A message for Sleeper....

I've been in hospital for 4 days this week, Andy...just been allowed out, but I've got to go back for a series of tests on Tuesday...I should be alright for Thursday though.  This has all been quite unexpected, and if the worst comes to the worst, I will refund you your ticket money....Cry

Oooh, it's getting closer!

I'm currently concerned about where Nicky and I's tickets for Within Temptation are though, they've still yet to arrive and the gig is next week!  Argh!  I shall give the box office for Carling Academy a call tomorrow and chase them up.

But I do have at least one Riverside ticket, which reminds me, I need to buy another one.  Oops.  As for the meal, I've yet to decide, can I decide on the day?

Oh and I somehow have two copies of Rapid Eye Movement, oops!

If it needs a good home, I'm happy to provide.Tongue

I thought you had bought a copy?

If Nicky doesn't want it, I know what to do with it then. Wink  I cannot promise it to you just yet.

Hopefully they'll have some on the Merchandise table anyhow.  It's time to get a Riverside t-shirt, people!

I've checked with The Underworld and apparently we don't have to clear the venue early, so there may be chance to meet the band after the show.

Your other opportunity may be in the pub before the show - since the Underworld is providing the catering .. instead of us buying in from the Sainsbury's up the road. You may therefore catch them (perhaps) in the dining area of the Worlds End - or by the stage door after the show.
