There are three feature films that contain music by MAGMA (not counting 'THE EXORCIST' which uses the main theme of 'MDK' poached from Christian Vander at the manor in 1973 by Mike Oldfield).

That's what I was getting at; Vander claims that Oldfield, while watching Magma rehearse MDK (long before it was recorded) ultimately stole music from Magma.  I personally don't hear it, but Vander swears it.

yeah I saw that right before House came on....  I didn't either,  to be honest with you, but MDK is not my favorite from them so I really don't listen to it much. Taking it to work tomorrow and with give it an intent listen tomorrow.  Both albums actually... Tubular Bells not exactly being a well worn album in my collection either.

Meh Ommadawn and Hergest Ridge are better than Tubular Bells anyway.

I've had Ommadawn in my hands like 3 or 4 times, the FYE close to me has had a copy sitting there for months.. and always put in back.  I should get it... just was not really 'grabbed' by T.B. so I just move on to artists I haven't heard yet.

Hergest ridge is quite an honest album, much better than any Oldfield production, but I must say that in my 18's, I could never even have imagined something like Tubullar Bells. I don't like it that much, but it features some very unsual ideas for a young musician.

Your FYE has anything remotely worth buying?
 
The only reasons I went to FYE were for the used section to maybe pick up a Beatles CD a Doors CD but now my collections for them are done. They do carry the remastered Tull albums though, that's pretty cool.

Actually, now that I consider it, I do hear it...

I'll keep it in mind next I heart Tubular Bells.

Ok...just picture a voice singing the main melody a the beginning of TB, and that's Magma.
